CAGEAD Pays Support Site Visits To Her Voice Fund Grantees

Her Voice Fund in partnership with Centre for Advocacy in Gender Equality and Action for Development (CAGEAD) the country's lead organization has embarked on a mission to support adolescent girls and young women's empowerment project across Cameroon. As part of this initiative, site visits have been conducted to grantee organizations, aiming to coordinate grantee activities ensuring that they are in line with the country's profile and also aiming to provide them with technical support, capacity building and resource mobilization.

Recently the country's lead organization CAGEAD visited three grantee organizations in the Northwest region of Cameroon this organization are Common Action for Gender Development (COMAGEND), Youth Empowerment and Resilience Network (YEARN) and Sustainable Women Development (SWO). This visit aimed to access project progress, identify areas of improvement and provide support to ensure the successful implementation of projects. 

The grantee organizations supported by her voice fund and CAGEAD are working tirelessly to promote Adolescent girls and young women empowerment and amplify their voices. Their projects focus on various areas: YEAN focuses on youth empowerment and developing adolescent girls and young women with skills, SWO focuses on giving a voice for adolescent girls and young women and creating awareness on HIV and TB, COMAGEND focuses on health and wellbeing, leadership and decision making.

These site support visit demonstrate Her Voice Fund and CAGEAD commitment to supporting adolescent girls and young women's empowerment initiative in Cameroon. By providing technical support and resources, they are helping to create a brighter future for adolescent girls and young women across the country.

The partnership between Her Voice Fund and CAGEAD is a testament to the power of collaboration in promoting adolescent girls and young women’s empowerment as they continue to support grantee organizations, they are amplifying the voices of adolescent girls and young women, paving the way for a more equitable and prosperous society.
